Dr. Joseph M. Youssef, DO, FACS, FASMBS, is a board-certified, fellowship-trained general and bariatric surgeon at Samaritan Surgical Specialists. Specializing in robotic and minimally invasive weight-loss, foregut, and general surgery, he combines advanced surgical technique with a deeply compassionate, patient-first approach.
He completed his general surgery residency at Hackensack University Medical Center Palisades and an advanced fellowship in Minimally Invasive, Foregut, and Bariatric Surgery at Case Western Reserve University / University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center. He was honored as the Lenox Hill Attending of the Year in 2025 for excellence in resident education and mentorship.
