Our Commitment

At Samaritan Surgical Specialists, we believe every patient and visitor deserves to be treated with dignity, respect, and independence. We are committed to providing full and equal access to our care, our office, and our website for people of all abilities. The following describes what you can expect from us and how we can help.

Communication

We work to communicate effectively with every patient and visitor. When reasonably needed to ensure clear communication, we provide auxiliary aids and services at no cost. We also accept calls placed through Telecommunications Relay Services, including Teletypewriter (TTY/TDD) calls made through 711, and handle them the same way we handle any other call.

Website Accessibility

We strive to design and maintain our website using current technologies that provide full and equal access to people with disabilities. In building this site, we aim to align with widely recognized standards, including the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and we continue to review and improve our website over time.

Assistive Devices & Technology

You are always welcome to use your own personal assistive devices and technologies when interacting with our office and services. If a device or technology is not compatible with our facilities, we will work with you to provide full and equal access through reasonable alternative means.

Companions & Service Animals

Companions, guide dogs, and other service animals are welcome to accompany patients and visitors with disabilities during their time at our office. When requested, our team will provide personal assistance in a sensitive, respectful, and discreet manner.

Interruption of Services

If we are temporarily unable to offer a particular accessibility-related facility or service, we will provide notice of the interruption and, whenever possible, the expected time that the service will be restored.

Staff Training

Our team receives ongoing training to communicate with and assist patients and visitors with disabilities in a helpful, respectful, and sensitive way.

Modification of Policies & Procedures

We will make reasonable modifications to our policies and procedures when doing so is necessary to provide patients and visitors with full and equal access to our office, website, and communication channels.

Continuous Improvement

We are continuously working to improve the accessibility and usability of our website. If you use mouse and keyboard alternatives, speech-recognition software may help you navigate web pages and online services through voice controls. If any content on our site is difficult to access, we want to hear from you so we can help and make improvements.

Contact Us & Share Feedback

We welcome your feedback and are glad to help. If you have questions about accessibility, need assistance, or feel that these standards have not been met in your experience, please contact us. We gladly accept relay service calls.
